Yes, you can DIY an adaptor and hope it doesn't look like Rocky Balboa's final round.
Our adaptor allows flipping your stock M57 manifold and mounting the 2260 in a top mount fashion. This comes in handy when you swap the BMW powerplant in any of the offroaders that crave the torque, but have suspension where the turbo sits in stock form. Made out of cast iron, comes with mounting hardware for the turbocharger flange. Clocking the turbo may be required for some applications. For more info check out the photos.
NOTE from the manufacturer: Please note that warranty claims for cracked manifolds will not be honoured unless proof of sufficient bracing and support to the manifold is provided. Failing to install a flexible coupling on your downpipe will also void any warranty claims. Having photos of the aforementioned measures before any failure is a good practice, mailing them to us is also welcome - this will ensure we will promptly proceed with handling any issues that may arise.
