A comprehensive and universal method to connect the oil and water pipes to your retrofitted GTB2060VKLR or GTB2260VKLR. This kit uses -4 JIC threaded fittings which can be connected with all the commonly available fittings (straight, 90°, 135° etc) for the oil and water supply in the lower flange, and a 5/8 (16mm) barb for the oil drain.
We have custom developed a -4 JIC converter for the upper water port - super convenient and allowing for the water return to be routed in any direction not just downwards as per the OEM Mercedes water pipe.
The kit comprises of:
Lower flange with 2 x -4JIC male fittings and 1 x 16mm barb
Genuine Mercedes gasket
Securing hardware
Custom upper push fitting with O ring, converting to -4JIC male thread (also available on it's own HERE)
Securing clamp and locking bolt.
(We can also supply the kit with a 3/8" x 19 BSPT screw in fitting for the upper water union rather than our custom one, again converting to -4JIC male thread, and this would obviously require drilling/tapping to the water port)
